- August 1 issue - 6 young first time voters discuss why voting is important, who they’re voting for and why.
- how the campaign is playing out in the social media (Twitter, YouTube etc)
Inside the Extra liftout every week - commentary by leading political correspondents Michelle Grattan & Paul Daley; campaign cartoons of the week; letters to the editor.
August 22 ... 16-page wrap around with all the news, analysis and colour from the big day, including three pages of every seat in the country.
